3 Ways to Donate
Please remember if writing a check that my last name is just Roberts. NOT Jarashow or Roberts Jarashow. ☺
1.
On the right hand side of this blog is a “Donate” button that allows
you to donate via PayPal. You do not have to be a member of PayPal to
donate this way and PayPal will keep your information confidential. *Deadline for donating via PayPal - July 20th, 2012*
2.
You can mail a check made out to “Kathleen Roberts” to my mother’s,
where I will be staying the month before I leave for Africa. She will
deposit into my account any check that comes after I leave for Africa.
Mail to:
Kathleen Roberts
C/O Julia Dupree
6818 GA Highway 111 S.
Cairo, GA 39828
*Deadline for donating via this address - July 20th, 2012*
3.
You can make a tax-deductible donation on the Operation Deaf Orphans
website. Please follow the instructions carefully, because there are
two different places to donate on the website, one is for the
organization itself, and another is for team members of the Africa
mission. If you donate on the wrong page, your money will go to ODO,
not me. *Deadline for donating via ODO - July 20th, 2012*
a. Go to www.odeafo.com (link is on top of this page)
b. Go to the button on the right side of the website that says “The Team”
c. You should see pictures and short biographies of each team member.
On the right side of that page is a “Donate” button.
d. Enter your information and donate however much you want to.
e. Be sure to put “Kat Roberts-Africa trip” in the comments section, so the secretary knows who to give the money to.
If
you accidentally donate on the wrong page, all you have to do is
contact ODO and tell them your name and let them know that your donation
was meant for me.
Also, in case you're wondering, the deadline for donating via Operation Deaf Orphans is May 10th because they need a certain amount of time to process the money and get a check printed up for me. However, if you mail a check directly to my mother's address (shown above) or pay via PayPal, the deadline is July 20th, since they'll be able to go directly to the banking account I'll be using to pay for expenses while I'm in Africa.
God Bless,
Kat
